MARK CHEE! Great Carico Lake Turquoise Bolo, Signed, Collectible Navajo Artist

Maker: Hallmarked with the mark of Mark Chee (1914 - 1981), Navajo.

Approx Age: Vintage, circa mid-1950s - 1960s (has a Bennett C-31 clasp on the back which was made from the mid 50s - mid 60s). Could have been made as late as the early 70s, but most likely before.

Size:  Overall width of the slide is about 1 1/4" w x 1 1/2" h. It's on a 38" braided leather cord with sterling tips. Weighs 43.9 g.

Additional Info: Great, high-grade, Carico Lake Turquoise (old tag on the back says 40 ct., but we have not verified that as the stone would have to be removed in order to do so). Bolo also has custom, handmade tips on a braided black leather cord. By the well-known Navajo artist, Mark Chee.

Condition: Good for it's age, normal wear expected.
